Just like this states you would have to have 5 or 6 guns/cannons to defend your home from a small robbery. The repeating rifle was a huge advancement in technology.

Jim Jeffries on muskets is great. Everybody should have muskets, because you have time to think about what you’re doing as you load it, so you don’t do anything rash.
